The Service BDC Agent/Receptionist/Cashier Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.50 and $25.00. 

Requirements

Increase the service traffic of the dealer by handling inbound service calls, making outbound calls and producing solid and specific appointments for the service department, thereby increasing revenue. Responsible for receiving money in the form of cash, check, debit card or credit card from customers for sales or services. Scans and keys in items, provides change, processes debit and credit card transaction and.balances drawer.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Associate degree or equivalent; and six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

Job-Specific Expectations  

  • Handling a high volume of inbound scripted telephone calls with the goal of selling a service appointment
  • Asking strategic questions to determine which technician, location, or department can best serve the guest
  • Dialing a high volume of outbound scripted telephone calls to new prospective clients
  • Using rebuttals to overcome objections
  • Determining the needs of the guest via telephone and  recommending appropriate service with the goal of selling a service      appointment
  • Confirming guest appointments to ensure high show ratios
  • Composing professional emails to customers
  • Receives money in the form of cash, check, debit card or credit card from customers for sales or services
  • Scans and keys in items.
  • Provides change.
  • Processes debit and credit card transaction.
  • Maintain current knowledge and familiarity with new products, features, accessories and services.
