YOUR MISSION
- The People & Organization DTC Stores Team currently supports 100+ stores with 2500+ employees throughout the continental US, Puerto Rico and Canada
- Build strong relationships with Field Leadership and key stakeholders for responsible identified districts
- Provide effective, creative and objective employee relations support for the Field Functions through coaching, policy interpretation, progressive disciplinary action and incident investigation
- Initiate and oversee store investigations in collaboration with third party investigators; investigate employee issues and recommend appropriate action, partner with internal legal counsel and ensure compliance with state and federal Labor Employment Laws
- Guide managers through the talent management process to ensure consistency, clarity, and achievable action plans
- Identify learning opportunities for employees to offer ongoing development
- Generate and analyze P&O metrics and reports to assess and communicate the effectiveness of people management practices including talent management, recruiting, employee relations, retention and turnover
- Ensure compliance with P&O-related federal, state, local and company rules and regulations by staying abreast of general and common regulations and legal resources; contribute to the development of compliance components of policies and programs
- Review and update DTC Policies and Procedures, in partnership with DTC Store Operations
- Participate in P&O Department projects as needed
- Represent the Brand Values – Brave, Confident, Determined and Joyful in all decisions, actions, processes and practices
YOUR TALENT
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 8+ years of increasing experience in human resources driving business outcomes primarily in a retail environment
- Workday and Kronos experience beneficial
- Possess demonstrated results providing effective employee relations coaching and counseling
- Flexible and comfortable with managing multiple priorities
- Detail oriented, creative, and possess strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
- A self-starter with proven ability to work independently
- Results oriented with ability to work within demanding times frames
- Proficient knowledge of US and Canada labor law and compliance
- Limited travel may be required
