Position Summary:

Soccer Village is seeking a Retail Store Manager to join our team. At Soccer Village, we want to provide the best customer service experience possible. All Soccer Village Retail Store Managers play a vital part in the day-to-day operation of the store. If you are a soccer-minded individual with customer service experience and a great attitude this is the job for you.

Essential Functions:
 
Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee Soccer Village Store operations
  • Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements
  • Ensure availability of merchandise and help to maintain inventory
  • Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans
  • Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures
  • Protect employees and customer by providing a safe and clean store environment
  • Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements
  • Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Uphold Soccer Village’s code of conduct and business model 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
