Description
Responsible for the overall customer experience in the retail outlet. This is a swing/grave shift position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Greets Guests
- Offers information and answers questions about merchandise.
- Answers customer’s questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
- Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
- Sets up displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
- Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise.
- Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives merchandise selected by customer.
- Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill.
- Accepts payment and makes change. Wraps or bags merchandise for customers.
- Cleans shelves, counters, or tables.
- Removes and records amount of cash in register at end of shift.
- Calculates sales discount to determine price.
- Keeps record of sales, prepares inventory of stock, and orders merchandise.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Cashier experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the Casino.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, grip items and reach above shoulders, while working at assigned area.
- Must be able to stand for the majority of assigned shift.
- Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10 key adding machine, PC computers.
