Job Summary:
Overview
As the General Store Manager at Soleply, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, managing a team of dedicated and knowledgeable sales associates, and ensuring the store consistently meets or exceeds sales targets. Your leadership skills, strategic mindset, and strong understanding of the sneaker market will be instrumental in fostering a positive and high-performing store environment.
Responsibilities:
Store Operations Management:

Develop and implement effective operational strategies and procedures to ensure smooth store operations.

Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.

Content Creation for company Social Media Platforms

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
Team Leadership and Development:

Recruit, train, and supervise a team of sales associates, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.

Set clear expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to drive performance and achieve sales goals.

Develop training programs to enhance product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and address performance issues promptly.
Sales and Customer Service:

Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.

Develop and execute promotional activities, events, and partnerships to drive foot traffic and boost sales.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
Financial Management:

Monitor and analyze sales performance, expenses, and key performance indicators to achieve financial targets.

Prepare and manage store budgets, including sales forecasts, labor costs, and inventory expenditures.

Implement pricing strategies and optimize margins while remaining competitive in the market.

Collaborate with the corporate team to provide input on product assortment, pricing, and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar role in the retail industry, preferably in footwear or fashion.

Strong knowledge and passion for sneakers and sneaker culture.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Solid understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising.

Proficient in using retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

The General Store Manager Role Is A Salary Position. The Salary Changes Per Volume Level Of The Store.
○ There are incentive opportunities available based off of a monthly sales goal set for the location.
○ You will work alongside a successful team of Managers and Sales Associates.
