Our client is seeking a P&C licensed, dedicated, and proactive Commercial Insurance Sales Associate.

Qualifications

  • P&C License
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter – CPCU, Certified Insurance Counselor – CIC) are a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and sales in the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients within the commercial sector.
  • Network and establish relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers to generate leads and referrals.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to stay updated on market trends and build connections.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ businesses to understand their unique insurance requirements.
  • Analyze risks associated with clients’ operations, assets, and liabilities.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and risk management teams to develop comprehensive insurance proposals.
  • Design and present tailored insurance solutions that address clients’ specific needs and risk exposures.
  • Explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and understandable manner to clients.
  • Provide expert advice on coverage options, policy limits, and deductibles.
  • Request quotes from insurance carriers based on clients’ needs and risk profiles.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to secure the most advantageous coverage for clients.
  • Compare and analyze multiple insurance options to make informed recommendations.
  • Prepare accurate and complete insurance applications, proposals, and contracts.
  • Ensure that all client documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Maintain proper records of client interactions, policies, and endorsements.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Provide ongoing support, address client inquiries, and manage policy changes.
  • Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure coverage remains aligned with clients’ evolving needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and changes in regulations that could impact clients’ insurance needs.
  • Monitor competitors’ offerings and pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness.
